PETERBOROUGH, ON - The Peterborough Lakers had to work a little extra magic last night but were still able to keep their perfect record in tact after a 10-9 overtime victory over the Kitchener-Waterloo Kodiaks last night.

The Lakers were missing key offensive players such as John Grant Jr., John Tavares, and Tracey Kelusky as well as key defensive players such as Scott Self and Kyle Sorensen.

Scott Evans led the way for Peterborough with four goals, Ryan Sharp scored the overtime winning goal, Shawn Evans picked up two goals and singles went to Mike Thomas, Shawn Thomson, and Turner Evans. Angus Goodleaf picked up the win in his debut in a Lakers uniform.

Next action for the Lakers is tomorrow night when they travel to Six Nations for an 8:30 PM ball drop. That game can be seen live right here on www.sportsintheboro.com.
