PETERBOROUGH, ON - The Peterborough Lakers are dedicating their 2010 playoff run to Assistant General Manager and Video Coach Barry Larock who passed away earlier this season. The Lakers are encouraging all fans to go to the Lakers' Souvenir Shop located in the main lobby of the Memorial Centre and pick up blue t-shirts with the slogan "This One's For Barry".
Barry Larock passed away on Monday, June 21st, 2010 after being an integral part of the Lakers success for the past six seasons.
The Lakers' Souvenir Shop is opened Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. |

PETERBOROUGH, ON - The Peterborough Midget Tigers improved their record to 15-9 tonight with a 7-2 victory over the visiting Whitby Chiefs at Riverside Park.
Kurtis Borland pitched four solid innings and Chase Sweeting picked up the win in the lopsided win. Cory Barker, Tyler Ryan, Grant Elson and Noah Crowley each had singles.
The Tigers next action is next Tuesday night when they play their final home game of the season against the Clarington Orioles, 7:30 PM at Riverside Park. |

PETERBOROUGH, ON - The Peterborough Lakers are home and cooled off awaiting their semi-final opponent in the Major Series Lacrosse playoffs. The Lakers finished first overall dropping just two games through the 2010 season. The Lakers will play host to the lowest seed that advances to the second round. |

PETERBOROUGH, ON - The Peterborough Lakers announced today that they have signed local native Tracey Kelusky for the remainder of the 2010 MSL Lacrosse season. Kelusky will play in the Lakers remaining games in order to qualify for the playoffs.
The Lakers will look to improve on their 9-1 start tonight when they head to Brooklin to take on the Redmen. That game can be seen live right here on www.sportsintheboro.com. |
